Open Bible Church

Kids and Youth

LIFT

At OBC, we invest a lot in our youth, because we believe in the importance of the next generation. That's why L.I.F.T. Student Ministries exists. It is family that exists to grow and disciple students who will become lights in their generation with a desire to reach the lost, and a passion to multiply the Kingdom of God.

Every Wednesday from 6 to 8 pm, students have the opportunity to hang out, hear from the Word, connect in small groups, and worship Jesus in song and prayer. Our staff is dedicated to investing in student's lives in a Small Group setting and making it a safe place to ask questions, as well as supporting them outside the church at games and extra curricular events.

The bottom line is, at L.I.F.T. we want each student to leave knowing a little more about who Jesus is and who he says they are. If we accomplish that, we are a healthy and successful family.

KIDS Church

KIDS Church, for kids age 3 through grade 4, meets during the sermon time on Sunday mornings (about 45 minutes).

The first Sunday of each month is family ministry, so kids get the chance to worship with their families for the entire service.

KIDS church might include worship, video driven bible lesson, big group activities, small group discussions, scripture memory, object lesson, craft, games, snacks, prize box.

Our adult and teen volunteers love ministering to the children of our community, teaching them about Jesus.

Kids' Club

Kids' Club, for K-4th graders, meets on Wednesdays during the school year from 7-8 pm.

Each night has worship, a Bible lesson, scripture memory, a craft or object lesson, game, and prize box.

We use the Dig-In curriculum. It provides creative, multi sensory teaching that immerses kids in Bible learning, helping them know Jesus personally and grow in relationship with him. We Dig-Into the Bible!

Our volunteers are excited to help the kids learn more about Jesus and grow in their relationship with each other as well as with Jesus!

All of our youth leaders and workers have been through our "Reducing the Risk" youth protection background check.
